Questions about Programs at GIT

<p>Hi everyone, I am aiming to EA and major in Electrical Engineering at Tech. I'm really interested in the Joint BS/MS Degree Tech offers in Electrical and Computer Engineering. But since apps for that start in Junior Year, I was looking around and found a bunch of programs that I've been wondering about: Research Option, Co-op Plan, Engineering Honors Program, and the Grand Challenge Program.</p>

<p>If any of you are in these programs, could you please provide some insight into how they are, and if they would be possible even if I applied for the Joint MS/BS? Right now the Grand Challenge program seems really fun to me, but I'm also curious about the Co-op and Research combined option, and I'm not sure if I would be able to handle both? (if it's even possible to do both haha!) Also I was wondering if the ECE honors program might be more suited for an EE major than the Grand Challenge program?</p>

<p>I’m not in any of the programs you mentioned, but the best advice I can give you is to call GT and ask them. Tech’s real good about having someone on duty who can answer your questions, and they can usually give you most if not all of the information you’re looking for in one sitting. Good luck!</p>
