<p>How rigorous is the academic program in TU? Also how is the food and stuff at TU? Lastly how are the girls in Tulsa? ;)</p>
<p>My son is a sophomore in Computer Science (in honors pgm) and he tells me he thinks the program is very rigorous. He and his friends study very hard and high grades aren’t given out easily. He is a National Merit Scholar and he works hard to keep his GPA high enough to keep his scholarship.</p>
<p>He said that some majors are definitely easier than others and that he has friends in the humanities or business school and the workload is easier.</p>
<p>He said the food is OK. They recently upgraded the main cafe and there is also Subway, and Chik-fil-a on campus you can use dining dollars with. I have eaten there when visiting him and it is amazing how much college food has improved since I was in college.</p>
<p>He said there are a lot of really smart girls there. He is sort of seeing a girl that is pre-med and he said she is super smart. He also said that the “cute” factor is high on the girls, but he said there is not a lot of air heads.</p>
<p>It is a small school and he loves it. He has been able to have lunches with his professors and has setup an independent study with one as well. He LOVES the professors at TU. They are there to teach.</p>
