<p>This year, the scholars will be notified in late-April and I was wondering if it was that late for the past years. Is it just me or is that cutting it really close to deciding which college you'll attend?
Hypothetically speaking, if I get the scholarship, I would want to go to a college in California (I live in Oahu, Hawaii) but 1. I get homesick really easily and 2. I have never left my island. I would basically have like a week or two to make my decision since most colleges want to know my choice by May 1. Was this one of your concerns as a finalist or am I just being too anxious?</p>
<p>The timeline has been the same for the last 2 years from my research. Our concern as parents, was that my son’s school of choice needed an enrollment fee by May 1st. We were not going to commit to his school of choice if he was not a GMS recipient.</p>
