questions on banking and student discounts

<p>This might be more appropriate for the Stanford 2011 board, but this one seems more active (though that's probably due to the "chances" threads more than anything else).</p>

<p>What is the most convenient bank to use at Stanford? I need to start my own bank account (I've been using one jointly with my dad).</p>

<p>Also, do we get any student discounts besides the ones at Apple, Dell, AT&T, and some local businesses? I actually went to the Stanford Apple site and I didn't really see any discounts... is there a specific listing of products?</p>

<p>Wells Fargo is the most convenient since there is a branch right on campus.</p>

<p>Haha I don't think there are any Wells Fargos in New York (just did a search). It seems more like a Cali-based bank?</p>
