thanks for yr quick reply Dima :) it helps (a lot ^^).

EDII..........tomorrow maybe?? :/ so nervous! im getting my hopes up by checking this forum too often!

last year most ED2's got their letter on the monday before the notification, good luck to everyone going to their mailboxes tomorrow or the next day

You should get it tomorrow or Tuesday

Tigers:

I view this discussion to obtain information on WLU, not HSC. If I wanted to read about HSC I would view the discussion topics for HSC. It goes without saying that they cannot be found in the "Top Liberal Arts Colleges" category.

Enough said.

1PUTT - very well said!!!

Tiger needs to engender himself with all of the historical factors of W&L - a gentlemen's school - since one can actually replace W&L in his above pargraphs quite equally - and actually Tiger - it does have the reputation in many circles as being ''The Dartmouth of the South''. So your comments fall on quite deaf ears on this board. Your lack of knowledge about a school steeped in history as W&L is - really leaves you no right to comment or compare.

Tiger - you would do well to post your comments in the appropriate venue - not on the W&L board where applicants are seeking info about W&L. So...please take it elsewhere..................TY.

Like I said, I refuse to say anymore about the topic of HSC and instead just want to congratulate all those who were accepted ED2

just changing the subject a bit--

do you know if admissions has a cd/video for me to get a tour of campus?

If not, do you know where I can locate one?

there is a virtual tour on the website - beyond that, there are a couple of webcams you can find on the website

that's as much as I know about that topic

Dima343 and others, your help will be appreciated as I am so nervous right now. When I sent my package (transcript and financial aid form - I submitted CommonApp online) for almost 3 months ago, I searched over and over the WLU website, and I got the address like " W&L university, Lexington, VA 24450. Now I checked the brochure W&L has just sent me and the address changed to "... Main Street, Lexington, VA 24450-0303"- much more specific than the old one.
Since I received emails from a senior introducing the school's activities to me, I always assured that they received my application. But now? I wondered if the address I used could reach the school. What do you guys think? Will "W&L university, Lexington, VA" be enough?
I called the Admission Office for times but the line kept being busy. That is why I am posting my question and hoping that some one may reassure/answer me :).
Thank you in advance.

When I sent my stuff in it was to:
Admissions Office
Washington and Lee University
Lexington, VA 24450

Anyway, keep calling the Admissions Office, that's the only to find if they have all your materials.

You should be fine. It is definitely better to say "Admissions Office," but if another department receives it they'll get it to admissions.

Thank you Dima343 and MorganGH! Finally I got answers from W&L. The admission office said that my file is complete. However, the Financial Aid Office assured that they have not received anything from me. I don't know why since I sent all in at the same time, in the same envelope :O
Right now I may only fax financial documents with the hope that WLU may accept them and it won't be too late.
Again thanks for your quick responses :).
