The hardest part is searching your name on the directory, IM me if you need someone to find your login id (no one can steal your stuff cuz you need to have the SSN and date of birth to start the registration stuff).

So you claim!

Hah, just kidding ;)

What's everyone's email going to be? I'm sure all the good ones are taken so I'll probably end up doing first initial + last name @ jhu.edu.. not too bad, not great either!

you can have it forward everything to your gmail address! the only problem is that you have to use your jhu account to send emails to have your jhu email address show up.

I think I'll keep using my gmail, and then also set up my jhu mail to download to outlook/whatever mail client i have on my laptop next year. So i'll have two places to check--gmail for most of my email, and my outlook/mail client for jhu-specific stuff.

I suggest maintaining at least one other e-mail account in addition to JHU mail anyway. Don't use your JHU account for random web registrations (sweepstakes, etc.; of course you'd need it for facebook though) because that's a very good way to clog your inbox with spam e-mail. Also, you only have your JHU e-mail for four years so you'll have to keep track of and change all your information at every site where you registered.

With that said, I have plenty of Gmail invitations if anyone would like any.
