A list consists of different integers. If a number is to be chosen at random from the list, the probability that the number chosen will be odd is 1/3. What is the probability that the number chosen will be even?

I think that this problem can be interpreted in two different ways.
The answer is 2/3, however, I disagree to an extent.

I got 1/3 because I used the list 0,1,2 as an example.
It follows the rules of the problem, and since 0 is neither positive nor negative, I chose the answer to be 1/3. When they say that the answer is 2/3, how can they be sure that a 0 is not included in the set? This is from a previously administered test too. Someone explain?
