Quick Question about grades

I am currently a freshman thinking about Law School. I currently have all A's except for my calculus class which I will end up getting anywhere from a C to a B in. If I do end up getting a C how will this affect my chances at law school. I mean I am not a Math major and this is really the only Math course I will end up taking in my 4 years, so the GPA hit shouldn't really be a big deal. should I withdraw and take a W, or risk taking a C?

I wouldn’t stress it, you’re a freshman and have plenty of time to make up for it and stay above 3.7. Anything over that and a 170+ and you’re golden. Just focus on what you can control, your GPA, keep it up. Also, if the W is considered punitive at your school, it will be considered an F, so before you go down that road, find out if it’s punitive or not. If it’s non-punitive, you could handle the W and retake the class. LSAC has a link with most schools listed and if their W’s are punitive or not.
