I am a junior right now (senior next year) and this year I took AP Physics B (which wasn't difficult in the least) and AP Calculus AB. My school does not offer Physics C or Calc AB.
Next year, I was hoping to be able to independent study physics C, but I only have one semester in my schedule open. Would it be possible to independent study AP Physics C in one semester (I will be with one other friend and a teacher).

Thanks in advance

Note:I am taking multivariable calculus at the local university next year.

seriously? nobody?

If you know calc pretty well than Physics C would be easy for you.

That you’ll be doing the independent study with another student, and with a teacher/coach is a good start. I assume that you’ll do Physics C Mechanics. If so, one semester for someone with good basic calculus skill is sufficient. Your one challenge may be doing the labs. Taking shortcuts with the labs would be unwise.

If you are motivated, and already are solid at Physics B, Physics C is practically trivial. The AP test itself makes only very small use of calculus (can you integrate y=x^3? :P) and the concepts are just a little bit more complex (stuff like moment of inertia can get a little annoying).
