<p>I apologize if the answer to this question is somewhere on the collegeboard site, but are the SAT scores automatically sent to the colleges that you selected, or can you choose to not have them sent in favor of having a stronger ACT test score sent? Obviously we are first timers doing all of this! Thanks for your help!</p>
<p>I'm afraid that the SAT scores will automatically be sent to whatever colleges you've selected. However, colleges won't factor in the SAT score you've sent during the college admissions process if you elect to submit a higher ACT score.</p>
