I’m super late to this thread lol but I also applied to the ELMPA program. I did a general interview with my admissions rep but he never mentioned a PA interview and I did not receive an email about one. My SAT score is 1420, my weighted GPA is a 100.4, and I am in the top 5% of my class so I have the required grades for the program plus I’ve done shadowing hours. I am kind of nervous that I did not get contacted about an interview.
UPDATE: I got accepted!!! But I can’t afford it!! So all the hard work was for nothing!! YAY!!!
Congratulations on your acceptance. Perhaps you can speak with them regarding the financial aid? Good luck! It was most expensive school for us too.
@Akoolmom thank you!! Even if I speak with them, I don’t think it would make a difference. My parents can’t really finance any part of my education so it would be too much loans for me. But I got into another bs/ms pa program that’s much cheaper (the graduate part of the program is only $38000) so I think ill be going there! Its just so far away but I guess sacrifices must be made
@sodal55
Do you mind to share which school will you attend?
@Teresa0309 Daemen College!
@sodal55 I also got into Daemen’s direct entry pa program too! we should talk
@DerpyDerpyson Hey!! messaged you~
For those who are accepted to the ELMPA program, will you be attending?
For those that were notified of interviews in December, did you apply EA or ED?
did you end up getting in?
Yes I got in. But I ended up attending another bs/ms program cuz the Quinnipiac one was too expensive.
I know its been a while since you interviewed and all, but I was wondering if you had anything about the kinds of questions they asked, like did they look for certain things or ask PA specific questions?
I’m sad to hear that you weren’t able to go because of financial reasons, but I hope you are doing well and happy at the school you decided to go to!
EA How about you ?
