I have a score submission question. QU wants the student to self-report SAT scores on the common app. However, there is no spot on the QU part of the common app to do so. That means D23 would need to report them on the main part of the app, but she doesn’t want to send them to all schools. I read somewhere on CC that the way to do this is to put the scores in, submit the application, and take them back out. This was her plan, but now she noticed that some of the schools she already applied to say “Application Submitted”, and some say “Downloaded by College”…are those 2 separate, sequential statuses/steps? Should she wait until all the previous schools say Downloaded before adding her scores, so that the other schools don’t download an application with scores?
Either that (I’m not 100% sure if that will work, but seems like it would), or don’t fill them out on the common app and choose which schools to send directly from College Board or ACT. Yes, you have to pay for them this way, but you can control who gets them. That’s what we did for my D23 for the few schools she was doing test optional. She also applied to Quinnipiac, but did submit her scores there.
I don’t see a Quinnipiac Early Action thread- anyone apply EA? They released decisions on a rolling basis last year beginning December 3!!
My d applied EA. I was hoping this thread would cover EA and ED. Hoping to hear soon! Good luck
Good luck to you as well! My d applied for nursing.
My D23 applied EA. We noticed in her portal today under the Dashboard tab that there is link/box to register for admitted student days in April 2023. I can’t remember if that was there before. Anyone else? I see no other information about a decision. Just “You’ve Applied” under the Application tab along with all her green check marks of complete items.
What do others see there under the Dashboard tab?
Same…the admitted student part is new and you can see the program if you click on the admitted students day link. And also, the “we will let you know early December”
part under “You’ve applied” section is gone. Would expect communication soon.
I checked today around 3pm and the “Admitted students link” was not there at that time - checking now at 5pm it is…hmmmm??
That was not there at 3pm - it is on my daughter’s portal now at 5!
Not seeing that on ours.
It was there yesterday. Now it’s gone.
Woah, nerve wracking
My daughter just checked her admissions portal and she was accepted to Quinnipiac! She’s so excited! She applied EA and was accepted into the nursing program.
Mine too! Just happened. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to you as well!
Congratulations to all! My daughter was accepted too. She’s so thrilled!
Congratulations!!
The decision letter lists merit aid but not the need based aid. Trying to access the financial portal but a username is required that “was communicated in the email.” I’m only seeing a student id number, not a username. Am I missing something or do we have to wait for another email for the need based aid?
Answering my own question lol:
Financial aid offers are generated beginning in mid-December for early decision candidates
