<p>Hi, I am going to be a freshman at Scripps next year, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the 5 college radio station that was started by Pomona guys in the 80's. I want to join the radio program next year but don't know how to get in touch with the DJs. Also, does anyone know anything about the 5 C school paper and how I get in touch with the editors of that?</p>
<p>Hi, I'm a current Scripps freshman. There are actually several different papers/news magazines on the 5-Cs, so there are a lot of ways to get involved. This year I've worked for the best one (IMO), Claremont Student. You can check us out at cstudent.org. We're always looking for new staff members and at the beginning of next year there will probably be a meeting where new people can find out how to become involved. Don't worry, this year it was very well-advertised on the Scripps campus. (Unsurprisingly, since most of the people who run the paper are Scrippsies.)
