Hey im willing to put 2/3 hours everyday doing SAT related stuff. I have a 590 math 550 verbal, 650 writing. I have tried to do that for 1 year now but no improvements because i dont have a set out plan. Can somebody please help me out in making that plan and telling me how i should go about.... It would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

ps: Im willing to work my butt off to raise my score to a 2200+, but only problem is i dont know what to do.

working your butt off is not good. take it easy and plan out your sat prep. first do a prep book and then start out with official sat tests from the blue book. for the prep book, i'd recommend rocket review. when you finish it, make sure that when you practice with the official blue book, you analyze your wrong answers. i got scores only slightly better than yours, but this seems to be really working... oh. vocab. questions still suck. can't do much about that. memorizing words just does not work for me.

You have answered your own problem: You don't have a proper prepping plan!. I feel practicing tests is the best way to get better. Once you finish a test, find out your mistakes and blanks and then do the following:
1. Find out what type of question it is
2. Find out why you got it wrong or left it blank
3. Work on those kind of problems(10-15 questions should do it)
4. Make sure your not making those mistakes.
5. Your SET. Most probably you won't be making those mistakes

thanks for the reply but see I have gone through all the practice tests without a single bit of improvement and so now i dont have anymore of those except kaplan 12 practice tests and 1 pr. What I need is to figure out a plan to study math and english, etc.... pleaseeee tell me a plan that you have advantaged from.

When you went through the practice tests, did you do something along the lines of what Lakshya recommended or what has been discussed in the "Xiggi method" thread? If not, then I think you should go back to the Blue book and look at those tests again.
