<p>I don't think there are any big merit monies except for entering firstyears. There are smaller summer grants for research and internships and scholarships for things like music lesson fees. D auditioned for scholarship monies after getting to Grinnell and was awarded Kurd monies to pay for the lessons in addition to her already established merit scholarship.Financial Aid may be able to help you here as well as the individual academic departments. D did not know about the Kurd monies. Her violin teacher told her once she was already at Grinnell.</p>
<p>You may also find $$ resources by looking through Grinnell's catalogue (It is in a PDF file online). The Kurd monies were listed it it; we just never thought to look there when D was going through the application process.</p>
