How about seperate forums for all of the science nerds, humanities nerds, etc? It would lend itself to organization of subject-specific questions and comments and news while guaranteeing an audience that has some sort of knowledge about the subject. I’m not exactly sure where they would go, though; the premise is too on-topic for high school life (:P) and too multi-level for college forums. Maybe something cafe-esque?
