But IF I were guaranteed acceptance to all of these schools, my application would presumably be strong enough for me to get into any other college as well. In that case, I wouldn’t choose an Ivy League school at all.

Brown - I love the feel more than any other.

Harvard - This is almost #1. Nothing beats Boston and Cambridge, IMHO.

Yale - Very lovely campus with great classes, New Haven being the only drawback, albeit a slight one.

Columbia, Princeton - Tied because while Columbia has a more urban location, Princeton’s academics are more desirable.

Penn, Dartmouth - Penn is in Philly which is nice but I find it to be utterly lacking in terms of personality. Dartmouth is in the middle of nowhere but people there seem quite happy.

Cornell - Ithaca. Ew. And there’s nothing there that entices me in the least.

Yale
Harvard
Columbia
Brown
Dartmouth
Princeton
Penn
Cornell

This is only based off of what I know about the student body - the only Ivy on my list is Dartmouth, all the others are way too large or urban for me.

Harvard Great school. Boston. Brand.
Penn Great school, beautiful campus, down-to-earth people.
Princeton Great school, beautiful campus, supper clubs seem anachronistic.
Yale Great school, but New Haven is scary, and they talk about Harvard too much.
Columbia Great academics, but needs a more cohesive student body.
Cornell An excellent school. Beautiful campus in a sub-par location.
Brown Nice campus, sort of artsy and hipster feel.

Dartmouth Middle of nowhere party school. For me, it is the only Ivy that I can not imagine a circumstance where I would seriously consider attending. Could be great for the right person, however.
