Rank Ivies If you were gaurenteed acceptance.....

I’m interested to see people’s personal taste (campus feel, location, student body, etc). There are no right or wrongs…

I’ll Start:

Princeton

Dartmouth

Yale

Harvard

UPenn

Cornell

Columbia

Brown

Dartmouth

Brown

Cornell

Princeton

Yale

UPenn

Columbia

Harvard

Since I'm an engineering major:
1. Princeton
2. Cornell
3. Harvard, Yale
5. Columbia, Penn
7. Brown
8. Dartmouth

This is how I choose them and the list reflects no more than what I believe is best for me, not Mary Q. Citizen.

Dartmouth

Princeton

Brown

Yale

Harvard

Upenn

Columbia

Cornell

My actual list of colleges excluded over half of the Ivies (Columbia, Cornell, UPenn, Harvard) and included other schools, Swarthmore, Williams, +.

For me, Dartmouth stood head and shoulders above the rest and I’m leaving for Dartmouth in two days! Dartmouth ’09.

Based on someone who's looking for the ultimate college feel.

1) Yale
2) Penn
3) Darmouth
4) Princeton
5) Cornell
6) Harvard
7) Brown
8) Columbia

Just my personal opinion on what I think I could enjoy the most...
1)Yale
2)Dartmouth
3)Penn
4)Brown
5)Princeton
6)Harvard
7)Columbia
8)Cornell

If I had to go for the total package:

1 Brown

2 Cornell

3 Princeton

4 Dartmouth

5 Yale

6 Penn

7 Harvard

8 Columbia

1.Ptown

Cornell

Dartmouth

Yale

UPenn

Columbia

based primarily on a combination of:
interest in engineering and sciences
disdain for grade inflation
location
prestige
accessibilty of faculty

Princeton

Cornell

Columbia

U Penn

Dartmouth

UPenn

Yale

Columbia

Brown

Cornell

Dartmouth

1.Harvard: not because its so good, but its "Harvard"
2. Princeton
3. Brown (no core requirements, yum)
4. Dartmouth- nice and laid back
5. Columbia: Being in NYC is very nice
6. Cornell: I love their undergrad program other than core requirements
7 Yale: Not really that undergrad friendly but great name. I might switch 6 and 7 due to Yale's name.

This is the order of where I would most like to attend.

Dartmouth

Brown

Penn

Yale

Princeton

Columbia

Yale

Princeton

Dartmouth

Columbia

Harvard

Cornell

Penn

I haven't really researched most Ivies other than Princeton and Dartmouth, so here's my best shot:

Princeton

Dartmouth (can't decide)

Yale

Cornell

Brown

Penn

Columbia

Harvard

Harvard
Columbia
Brown
Yale
Upenn
Princeton
Cornell
Dartmouth

Based on my personal preference for strong community "family" atmosphere, quality of teaching, laid-back friendly students, and a great social scene.
