Why Ivy engineering: because sometimes people who want to be engineers and will be good engineers also want rich arts and intellectual thought. Music, and books, and drama that educates the whole person. Life if not all problem sets. It is possible to be an engineer, but have a life outside of engineering as well. Ivy engineering (or WUST, Bucknell, Vanderbilt, Lehigh etc) offer a richness of broad intellectual thought that may not be as reality available at Missouri S&T, CIT, Clarkson, Rose Hulman, Rowan, Drexel or GeorgiaTech.

^^^There are other universities where one can also get an excellent broad education, without sacrificing a top notch engineering curriculum. The majority of the schools in the Ivy League are not necessarily the very best choices for engineering.

Sorry, I don’t agree that Rose Hulman does not add Richness Art and Music…just came back from a wonderful Musical put on by Rose students and their band, this year was the Wizard of Oz and it was wonderful.

Also, they have art all over the school and it is changed out…frequently. Not quite sure what you are talking about???
