My counselor already listed me as the top 25% and submitted the SSR, and I already submitted my common app indicating that I am the first.

Although I was greatly affiliated by your comments, when I called Harvard and they said it would be Ok to list myself as the first in opposition to the SSR if it is indicated in the counselor’s letter, I rashly decided that I would list myself as the first and I clicked the submit button. I am asking that currently, noting the existing discrepancy between SSR and common app, should I make anything as to clarify things up?

So, I am in a safe position?

Gibby and I x-posted. I am telling you based on my experience, it is not uncommon. I said, if “it’s true and (your counselor) would attest to that, if contacted- it’s fine.” You said, “I am actually the first (according to my counselor) and he is willing to corroborate on this.”

So? Any contact now could come from the counselor. Simple. “I am confirming Ahmed is #1, though we report by quartile.”

**OR, if the actual counselor letter is still pending, it can be mentioned there.
