Rankings for '09

Could all the acceptees into the class of 2009 list their rankings? I just want to see where my current ranking (top 5/360) is compared to this year's accepted group... Thanks a lot guys!

If you don't feel like posting a ranking, could you maybe offer some insight as to whether or not this is a safe ranking? I know that ranking isn't a huge deal, but it shouldn't hurt anything, right?

I was 4th/465 (uw) and 6 (w) when I was accepted ED
someone else from my school who was accepted was 4th (w) and 6th (uw) lol
5th was also accepted, it's definitely a safe ranking and will only help your chances of getting in, if anything

I was somewhere in the 60's out of 500. You're safe with 5; trust me...

5/360 is perfectly fine...you've got nothing to worry about in the class rank department.

2/360.....

thanks to all! I really appreciate the quick responces :)

no problem...and good luck!

They look at the overall applicant anyway. A bad rank will hurt you, but yours is really good so I wouldn't worry. If you're well-rouned, you have a very good chance to be admitted.

i have a pretty good rank..12/600 but i only got a 1360 on my SAT. do i have a chance?

certainly...

5/350 is higher than mine. I was somewhere from 10-20 out of 350.

I was 9(W) and 3(UW) out of 238.. and got in ED..

2/416......

thank you all for posting, I really appreciate it! :)

9/365... Similar numbers to yours and you're in even better standing. Don't worry too much. :) Good luck!

ya'll make me feel really dumb haha, how bout we compare SATs instead, i'm more on par there :P

Thanks CornellHotelie! ;)

Sparticus-> you got into Cornell... I look up to you man! Along with all the rest of yas who have gotten in! Besides, I haven't taken the new SATs yet.... :p

No my rank is probably the worst here, 20/500....barely top five percent

yeah, don't worry about it too much...my rank was 12/645
