<p>SJU is a great choice for anyone applying to schools now. The school just added 38 acres to its campus which will be called the Maguire Campus. The historic Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse is being renovated and in a few years, it will have a new/renovated library. The school also receives about 10,000 applications for about 1,400 spots. The acceptance rate has risen but that's only because the school is adding to its undergraduate enrollment (the number has increased since 2004 from 3,200 to about 5,000).</p>
<p>I will be attending SJU as a transfer in the fall and I just wanted to explain why I think it's an excellent choice for anyone considering it.</p>
