hopefully if I get into theater this will be my schedule... if I don't... then I'll just take something else.

Any recommendations or changes btw? Also is anyone familiar with the Anthro 171 class? I mainly took it because it's 4 units and has no discussion.

Do you think I should keep econ c175? I only really need 2 econ electives this semester to graduate this fall.

i think your schedule looks pretty standard - nothing you really need to change about it.
also how did you manage to create a weblink for your schedule? ninjacourses wont allow me to show my schedule to ppl who do not have ninjacourses accounts.

Anthro 171 was fun if you enjoyed learning about Japanese culture. Make sure you put some effort into your papers. I bet you’ll watch The Family Game movie.

I’m just interested – why are you taking Theater 10? My friends who have taken it say that it takes quite a bit of effort but they all really enjoyed it and most of them went on to take further Theater classes ;)

How hard the grade system is from econ c175 (data show only 30% giving A while Pub Pol C103 give 50% A) ) ? i have heard from time to time the class is easy although the exam are difficult to complete in time and project are time consuming. How do you compete the project with limited statistics background (take stat 20 this semester) ?

You really only have to be able to analyze trends to do the project. I took it last year as a freshman and my analysis was literally “on the graph, there seems to be a positive correlation between blah and blah…it may have been weak because of blah…” I got an A+ and presented to the class. I was taking econ 1 at the same time and had only taken AP stats 2 years ago, both of which didn’t help. Just make sure you try your best to account for as many confounding variables as possible. Project was decently time consuming, but only because I had to find relevant data online and learn stata (start early and it won’t be a problem at all. Writing up the project was simple.) Problem sets were pretty easy and could be done with minimal effort, and the GSIs used to help if needed. If you can understand the general concepts (a lot of common sense), you’ll do fine…if you can’t then probably not…

So I’ve been looking more into theater 10 and all this talk about it being very time consuming is bothering me.

I have 2 backup courses in case I don’t get in. One is plant bio 13, but the only drawback with this class is that I’ll have 2 finals on the same day, something I despise.

The other course is letters and sciences 160b, which is about meditating and stuff. It has no final which draws my attention. But I have no clue what you do in this class aside from daily quizzes.

What do you guys think? Should I stick with theater 10 or go for one of the backups?
