Senior:

It was, in the beginning,

Honors Physics
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
AP Literature and Composition
AP Economics
AP World History

But after reading some Cal Newport I changed it to:

AP Calculus BC

7.5

Sophomore at a CA Catholic school -

Latin 3 Honors
PE (required)

Newspaper

[On top of that, Boy Scouts, piano, Indian violin, various community service work.]

9 because you’re doing honors but that’s compensated by your ECs.

A Level Economics
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
A Level Physics (somewhere between AP Physics B and C)
A Level Chemistry
AP English

I’m not going to post my self-studies here but I’m just going to say that I have about 5 self-studies.

I’m not really familiar with A Levels, but I’d say a 9.

senior schedule
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP Government & Politics
AP Japanese
AP Stats
AP Comp Sci

9, because you only have five classes, albeit all AP’s. Yet both APCS and Stat are relatively “easy”, by CC standards–but you’re a senior, so props for not slacking off. Or maybe it just hasn’t gotten to you yet ;)

Sophomore schedule:
English Honors
Chem Honors
Precalculus Honors
APWH
APCS
AP Micro
French II Honors

I don’t have any super time-consuming ECs. Just trying to have a life while I still can.

6

IB HL English A1
IB HL Economics
IB HL Math
IB SL Chem
IB SL French (AB)
IB SL Business

Junior Schedule:

AP US
Physics honors
AP Lang
History of the Holocaust honors
AP Psych
Trig/Analytical geometry
Philosophy honors

I know it might be easier compared to some of your schedules, but I like my classes Perfect balance.

Very nice. Good balance, interesting classes, rigorous without being ridiculous. I’d say 7.5 on the difficulty scale because of taking APUSH, Lang, and Psych in the same year.

Junior Schedule:

Free/PE (free 1st period, b****s)
Spanish 4 Honors
Studio Art
AP Chem
APUSH
Lunchtime Chorus
AP Calc BC
AP Lang

The art classes are required, but they’re actually pretty fun.

I’m a parent so I’m really not “allowed” to post here, but I just wanted to make you all feel either really good about your schedule or really jealous about my D’s…

It’s a long story why…but this is her final semester senior schedule (even she would rate it a 1):

Health/PE
Band
Genetics
12th grade lit (has 2 2nd-time seniors in there and currently reading a book she read in 8th grade lit)

She has gotten a lot of outside reading done so far this semester!

10, but also a 3 (not slacking but does she have all her credits fulfilled? I’d worried that I’ll be rusty when it’s time for college if I had that schedule)

Junior
CPA (regular level) Chemistry
AP Language & Composition
Honors (highest available) Spanish 4
PE/Health
Honors (highest available) Latin 3
CPA Algebra II

AP US Government
IB French V SL
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Art III HL

^That’s misleading advertising for you!! Our school is a ******** school for rich arrogant syrian jews, and it’s anything but intellectually stimulating. Due to the 10-11 hour school schedule, kids have no time to absorb any information, other than memorize it, spit it back at teacher. In one ear, out the other, with nothing retained for higher purposes.

That said,

Here is my course load,

Talmud (Jewish law)
Bible,

I love how i got an 8, and musicgirl also got an 8, insinuating equally rigorous courses and hours, :)

My sophomore year schedule was probably more rigorous than my junior year’s, so I figured I’d post both:
