Hi All, I've gotten some advice for colleges that has been all over the map and I'd love some other opinions on my chances at some top schools. My main school right now would be Georgetown, but I'm also interested in Bowdoin, UPenn, Pomona, Middlebury, and Washington University (St. Louis). What do you think my chances would be at those regular decision? My numbers are lower than averages, but I'm interested in what people think about my extra-curricular accomplishments (not typical at all).

ACT: 32 with writing
SAT Subject tests: 720 Math II, 670 Biology-E
GPA - 3.56 UW in all Honors and AP Classes (Taken All APs offered at my school)
Rank - I know I am top 25%, not sure from there.
Essay - I've had my essay reviewed by an admission offer friend at a top college in the area, and she raved about it. So supposedly an excellent essay.

Extracurricular:

This is what I think sets my apart. I have worked as a freelance writer for the past year, and have been published in 10 national magazines. I have been published in: Referee Magazine, Everyday Food (1.6 million circulation), Magazine for the National Writers Association, among others.

I also started, and designed for, and online t-shirt company that has grossed over $40,000 in sales over the past 2 years.

In the more traditional sense, I'm also a member of National Honors Society, on the board for my local Jewish Teen group, and an ultimate frisbee player.

Any thoughts? Be honest, I can promise I've heard both the best and the worst!
