RD Chances of Acceptance for BU: School of Education

I REALLY want to go to BU its my #1 school because I want to become a teacher in Boston.

So would I have a chance of getting into their School Education with these statistics?

SAT Total Score OUT OF 2400- 1500 (Super Scored already)

Critical Reading: 510, Math: 430, and Writing: 560

SAT II Subject Tests:
World History: 440, Math I: 410, Chemistry: 380

GPA: 87.12% (out of 100%)

School Rank: 30 out of 238

AP Exams:

AP Chemistry: 1 (REALLY long story)

AP European History: 3

I had AP U.S. History, AP English Literature, and AP Biology but all THREE classes were canceled because two of the teacher left the school and the other class had half the students drop out in the middle of the summer since the summer HW work was TOO HARD.

So I only have 2 AP’s under my belt when I graduate (really one since AP Chem went badly).

Extracurriculars: Working after school at an elementary school where I help kids with their HW.

Community Service: Volunteered at my job for the summer then was hired for pay.

I know it looks REALLY bad but I’m not aiming to become an engineer or anything but I’m still praying.

So what do you think? Please be brutally honest with me I’m ready to hear that I have NO CHANCE of getting in.

I’ve seen senior friends with lower stats then you get in – continue praying

@TalkTheTalk thanks for the morale boost, I really wanna go to BU’s SOE but seeing the insane stats other students put up is very discouraging!

Have you looked at your high school’s scattergrams to see where your stats compare to others , Darkand99 ?

@lje62 unfortunately my school’s data is outdated and my college advisors never update them so the scattergrams a really inaccurate and I believe stop at 2009.
