which time zone

I received an email about a week ago from my U.Chicago rep alerting me to the release date of the decisions offering to answer any questions I might have…I absolutely won’t read into it too much, but is that typical or could it be a good sign?

Nana, which area are you in?
Also has anyone else received an email?

Sent from my SGH-T959P using CC

Lol I received an email from Chicago telling me to complete financial aid application because they started reviewing my aid package and found it incomplete, but I suppose it’s cuz i totally forgot the deadline and no one else’s as stupid as I am haha

How fitting that they’re coming out on the Ides of March…beware!

Massachusetts. I got another pretty personal, encouraging email in response to my letter of update as well. Obviously I won’t know until later today…! but I do hope the emails from my rep are a good sign.

I don’t speak with any sense of authority right now, but the week before I was accepted EA, I got a similar fin aid email. Then I got in. It might mean you are in or it might mean anything, but i have my fingers crossed for you guys. Good luck this afternoon

@hotpongtato- did you hear about anyone else who got that email too and got in?

I was contacted by financial aid back in November or December and I got deferred

The Financial Aid email means nothing. Everyone got it. But anyway, good luck everyone.

^not the people who submitted their aid applications on time=P But yeah, good luck.

I never knew that the FA deadline for RD is Jan2 until a friend reminded me on Jan15. Damn! I emailed them and asked if it’s OK to be late. They replied(in brief): “It’s OK. Don’t worry. We take FA applications after the deadline too. Take your time but make sure you send the required forms no later than the end of January.”
I sent them everything on Jan31:p yeah!!!

Oh wait it was due on Jan2? hahaha I received the email late February and submitted mine like a couple days ago. Hopefully it has nothing to do with admissions.

I did end up getting in!! With a merit scholarship too For anyone else who wonders someday, those extra emails are a good sign!!

yikes I am rejected. what a suck day for me

waitlisted…
