RD Decisions?

Has anyone heard when RD decisions are going to be released?

Should be on or about April 1st

arg! Whay doesn’t UR have any intense people who do the work for us and call the office at all hours of the day???

technically the scholarship semifinalists were already notified of their admission decisions. I was accepted, but i still am anticipating the official envelope.

how did you find out you were accepted?

well it was a good/bad news kind of situation. Around February 25th I received a letter that congratulated me on my acceptance, even though I would not be considered as a finalist for the scholarship. It was a tiny envelope, and they said the formal admission packet would come in late march.

Same here, biobabe. It was like, “Congratulations, you’ve been accepted!.. oh wait, sorry about that whole ‘scholarship thing.’ Yeah, we don’t really want you here THAT badly.” :P

UR Admin Twitter says RD decisions should be going out this week.

Here’s a link to that: [UR Admission (URAdmission) on Twitter](http://www.twitter.com/URadmission)

Do you know how they send the letters to internationals, cuz if they send them via regular mail, it would take ages for my letter to come…

I think internationals will get emails.

Well, in Twitter they say they will make no email notifications.

What I think that they are trying to say is that they will not put the decisions up on the bannerweb site thing.

As far as I know, they don’t have tracker or sth like that.

I emailed them and they said they would notify international students by email after April 1.

“It’s official: letters have left the building. Don’t think any will arrive tonight, but you can begin stalking your mailbox tomorrow.”

YAYYY!!

Ahhhh!!! So if I’m in California, when would be the earliest for it to arrive?

I’m guessing Friday/Saturday for myself and I’m in Ohio. For California, I would guess the same or maybe Monday. However, first-class mail is usually delivered domestically in two or three days :)

Here’s a helpful link on delivery times:[USPS - Frequently Asked Questions - Domestic mail estimated delivery times](http://faq.usps.com/eCustomer/iq/usps/request.do?create=kb:USPSFAQ&view()=c{12adaeb0-57e2-11dc-51b6-000000000000})

I had letters arrive in December from the east coast that arrived 2-3 days after being postmarked. They’re pretty quick with First Class Mail.

what about intl students? no emails yet…
