The REA AP US History crash course is geared entirely towards the APUSH exam (imagine that lol) but people say its a good review for the SAT 2 USH exam so that's what I'm using. My question is: Do the tips listed in the book (like when they make a little bubble and say "don't worry about this but worry about this because it's been asked on ever released exam) also apply to the SAT 2? I know they're referring only to released APUSH exams, but is it generally the same for the SAt 2 USH?

Crash Course flunks the SAT II. I scored an 800, but not because of Crash Course. It is not effectual for the SAT II. As far as the tips go, they do apply to the SAT II. Forget about George Washington. Know your dissenters. Etc. All very good tips. CC just lacks in content, not tips.

It’s pretty subjective. I took the SAT II a year after the AP US exam and scored a 760 by only reviewing crash course for a week. My advice would be to focus on more obscure facets of history such as who Ida B Wells was compared to what an antifederalist was.
