reaching aid office

Hi, I wondered if anyone ever had trouble reaching the financial aid dept. during the summer? I know it's a busy time, but I left 2 emails last week, called and left a message and called yesterday and was given a voicemail saying it would be 24-48 hours to reply. So far nothing. My husband says to drive down but that seems a bit extreme. I know it's not a good sign for getting any aid change, but I would think a quick call or email would be nice. I had a question about the amounts given and it wouldn't take very long. Loan applications are waiting, and I will have to get to that this weekend or soon after. (fun, fun) : )

My Wife has called the Fin Aid office at our college a few times and received calls back the same day. I think it's actually a busy time for them with new student parents calling with questions about offers and costs. I would try another call and make the drive if it's urgent.

Yes, I realize that and freshman come first, not sophomores. I will try again, but it can be frustrating..

I called, and got through on the first try. I spoke with a student though, but she was able to answer my questions. She was very helpful. I don't know how long it would take this time of year, if I needed to speak with a full time financial aid officer.

I'll try again next week and make sure they know it's been ongoing...I just want to make sure their isn't a minuscule chance they made a mistake in reformulating the aid. ( I can dream)
