There are many people who suggest us not to read the whole passage and just go directly to the passage>... Should i even do that?

All the ones scoring above670 please answer.

I am planning to read the whole passage and do the questions.

I recommend first reading through all the questions and underlining the lines they reference in the passage. Then read the passage completely, paying extra attention to the context of your underlined areas. It's a winning formula...

Does that mean i should read the whole passage>>

I score around 740ish on practice tests.

I ALWAYS read the entire passage. I guess I'm a fast reader but it's hard to pick on things such as tone/mood without doing so. Plus, reading it makes everything more coherent (at least for me). After reading, I simply go back into the text (quickly) to answer the questions that I am unsure about.

It's called the critical READING section, therefore you are required to read the passage. i got an 800 in october.

So do you look at the lines the question is referring to even after reading the whole passage>.

By the way can you finish the section in time after reading the whole passage.

^ yes i refer back to the lines, even after fully reading the passage. i usually finish the section with about a minute left.

Ok thanks buddy that was what I needed to hear. "Can Finished On Time">>>

Thanks I can miss a 3-4 question per section. I just want above 600 that's all

My method got me a 730, and yes, I always finished with at least 3-4 minutes to check over. It seems to work.. :p
