HELP! My creative juices are refusing to flow right now and I'm in need of some advice for my 250 word max. essay for the TOC program. Anybody willing to help me out?

I can’t commit to reading it but will give you the advice that has always served me well: First, do a “brain dump”–just answer the essay question or prompt by writing down whatever comes into your head. For example, if the question is, “Why are you interested in Carleton?” pretend you’re having a casual conversation with a friend and they asked you that question. Just write down the first things you would say to someone who asked you that. Once you get it written down, then work on making it more polished. Then you can ask a parent or teacher to review what you’ve written and help you improve it.
