^ Ugh, so much lame literature. Not “lame” as in “bad”, per se, but “lame” as in “he won’t want to read ever again”.

dang, can’t forget catch-22!

The Stranger is not lame. I loved that book.

Here’s my list that I loved:

One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest
The Stranger
Time Traveler’s Wife
Slaughterhouse Five
Joy Luck Club
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay
Catcher in the Rye

PS: Macbeth sucks so much ass. Don’t bother reading, it’s gore doesn’t even faze anyone. Oh no bloody hands OH MY GOD!

Withering Heights will kill you.

I’m reading the stranger right now aha. Good book, almost finished.

@blackrose omg the line that everyone in my class remembers is the beginning… IT IS unforgettably amusing and sad at the same time haha!

Barrack Obama’s books. Those things are the new bible apparently :D

In Cold Blood - Truman Capote

Everyone should have to read that book…

^ You know what’s even funnier. When I picked up the book, my dad told me I’d like it, opened it to the front page and had me read the first sentence. LOL

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

You gotta be ready for the movie.

Movie always bad. Book always fun. Harry potter is ghetto. Thus harry potter book + movie = ghetto.

[man’s search for meaning](Man's Search for Meaning - Wikipedia) by viktor frankl,
it’s about a guy who lived through a concentration camp
and based a psychological theory on it
really fascinating read

Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. Definitely a must-read.
I’d also recommend 1984 by George Orwell, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and Candide by Voltaire.

yeah brave new world is excellent.
