These are the things listed to-do in the Ag department email I got. It said getting this email does not mean you are admitted, you will get an email from admissions about that in March. So I guess this is just a way to make sure we have everything in order but what confuses me is I don’t even know if I am accepted. I am planning to go to the open house for Ag Mar 7th but it’s a long trip for me (Sonoma county) if it turns out I am not accepted. Hoping to hear before then?
@bunnyhugger I’m pretty sure that means you’ve been admitted. I haven’t received any emails or letters from CPP. I don’t know why else they would send you that if they didn’t plan on admitting you
@Meooow So cool. I think it is great. Sounds like you are at the front of the line. Lucky! Good Luck. I believe they only do admits in the beginning not rejections.
@Gedelaine But at the top it clearly said it’s not because I’m admitted but I guess at least I wasn’t rejected (so far?)? Here’s what it said and I guess only Ag does this?

GREETINGS–Hello from the College of Agriculture at Cal Poly Pomona! You are receiving this email because you have applied for admission to a major administered by the College of Agriculture. Receiving this email DOES NOT mean that you have been admitted. You will receive official notification from the Admission’s Office if and when you are admitted. You are receiving this email because the faculty and staff in the College of Agriculture want you to be well informed about all the news, events, and deadlines that are important to our applicants. We do this via the The Greenhand (sent to you in December) and this monthly electronic newsletter Cal Poly Pomona Bound. Thank you for apply ing to one of our majors. Please let us know how we can assist you in your application process by contacting…(ag person email)"
@bunnyhugger I got that email too. I think it is just to keep us informed of whats goin on in the Ag dept. My status changed to “Ready for Decision”. But, considering I am a transfer applying to an impacted major, I think it is still gonna be a while.
I applied to CPP in 2010 as an incoming freshman and was accepted on March 1st but I decided to go to SDSU instead and graduated with a BA psychology #aztecforlife woo! Now I have applied to CPP for the teaching credential program and I was asked to send my transcripts on 12/20/14, it took like 3-4 weeks for it to show up that they received them on broncodirect. Right now my broncodirect says ready for review so im waiting to hear from them soon!! Good luck to all the incoming freshman!! College is so much #gogreek !!
