Real Estate Development schools

Hi
i am looking for schools (undergrad) that have a good program in Real Estate Development. can anyone please post the rankings?

I dont think there are any.. most of the real estate people didn't even study business ..

Example: wharton, berkeley, Tepper....

Look at the bios of people in real estate development firms such as Tischman. I don't believe you need to major in something so specific as an undergradute. Think of taking related courses in finance, architecture and construction. Try and get a job on a construction site so you understand how things are built or see if you can get an internship in a bank to see the lending structure side of things. There is also an investment banking side of real estate.

I would suggest getting yourself into the best college you can that will teach you how to think and worry about the specifics of real estate development later.

AlanArch: Thanks...do you know of any good schools...I am trying to make a list,

For that, I would go to other, more general, threads, on CC. Sorry if this isn't very useful but without any inkling of what your stats and interests are, I would be shooting in the dark. Look at the guidance from other posters on CC.

Cornell has a real estate program in their hotel school with various courses in hotel and real estate development..its also the number one hotel school in country...u can concentrate in real estate but u have to take some courses in hotels which may turn you off.just to throw it out there

there are courses in real estate law and real estate develpment and real estate finance.

So wht would you guys advise me to do? I was thinking about applying to U Georia (Tepper) and U Mich.. I was also think about the hotel school but I am not sure if it is a good school out of all the possiblities.

^Umich would be best off of that list, but you should really double major in something else.
