Real Math IIC...Accurate?

Is the Math IIC exam from the Real SAT II book accurate? The curve on this test was that you could receive six wrong, and still get 800. How common is that?

its far too easy
no idea if curve is really like that no one does cuz they never tell u how many u miss

Yeah, I'm wondering about this as well. I got an 800 on the real SAT II's Math IIC practice test without even reviewing the material. Is it accurate? or far too easy compared to the real deal? How about Kaplan?

The curve should be accurate.

in your experience as a tutor, have you ever suspected CB of having easier released exams? Like the free SAT you get when you register, some of the exams in Real SAT II's, the practice things they publish, etc?

Not really. Usually, the exams are on about the same level as future exams. Some students may perceive their actual exam to be a bit more difficult than practice ones, but this is more often caused by test-taking anxiety than by the genuine difficulty of the exam. In the end, even truly more difficult exams are equalized by the scoring scale, so I don't think you have much to worry about when you are dealing with CB materials (except for those for the New SAT, because it has never been given before). A good example is the October SAT's verbal sections, which MANY students found to be quite difficult. Two of my students, however, scored 790 and 740 in verbal on their exams, and they certainly did not think it was too difficult. Of course, they had me as a tutor, so they perhaps had an unfair advantage. ;-)
