<p>anyone else catch the first episode tonight?</p>
<p>i'm not the biggest reality-tv fan, but this doesn't really look like a great season based on the first hour...</p>
<p>Lol yeah I saw it. Haha people making out and getting into fights in the 1st episode. I think it will be an intense season.</p>
<p>Nehemiah did not deserve all that crap from his roommates. He tried to keep the girl (forgot her name) from getting too drunk, stayed calm when she started getting violent, and left to avoid altercations with other people.</p>
<p>The Bostonian (forgot his name too) got angry at Nehemiah not knowing the full situation. Even then, Nehemiah remained calmed and tried to explain the situation. Now that Bostonian has to go in for surgery. That sucks.</p>
<p>Real World= biggest guilty pleasure ever. haha I love this show.</p>
<p>It seems like this season they just chose the trashiest cast ever. Remember back in the day when they picked INTERESTING people? And where it was kind of assumed that you're not gonna screw your roommates...</p>

<p>I watch it, but I didn't watch it last night because yesterday was my 17th birthday. As long as this cast is better than the Las Vegas one (i swear they did nothing but get drunk and have sex) than I'll watch it. I stopped watching the Las Vegas Real World halfway through when I gave up on them actually being interesting people</p>

<p>the show has been consistently going down hill. Each season they just keep projecting and formulating the show for a younger demographic. if you compare some of the earlier Real World members to the current ones you'll see my point.</p>
<p>I think it stopped being good after the New Orleans cast... 'course this doesnt mean Im not gonna try out when I get old enough...but still..they just arent as fun to watch as they used to be.</p>

<p>I think the whole house is stupid mostly. The only person I think I'm going to like is Nehemiah. All the people seem the same mostly. I mean, what happened to having a personality and being able to go out without getting totally hammered every night</p>
<p>austin is one of the greatest cities in the US, so i watched it to get a glimpse of my old college city!</p>
<p>im mainly watching because one of the guys graduted from my hs a couple years before me. and according to some of my friends that actually knew the kid, he acts the exact same way in reality as he does on the show...</p>
<p>This season is soo wild!!! I mean the cops came on the first night?!?!</p>
<p>Well I heard that MTV purposefully puts them in these situations so that interesting stuff would happen anyway.</p>
<p>Besides Real World and a couple other shows.....reality t.v. now a days suck. I think they try soo hard to get a new hit show that is a copy of others...or just a show that plays on stereotypes of every spectrum that it's just stupid.</p>

<p>i love how people come out there claiming to be so committed to their significant other, and then in the first week they're already hooking up with a roommate. It happens EVERY SEASON. and yet, still provides quality television moments :)</p>
<p>i think that girl who's really pale is going to be the one who's like, "everyone hates me, can i go home?" because there's always one of those every season too.</p>
<p>no gay people on this season, i noticed. They usually throw a gay person and a baptist in there (or some similar mix) just to cause conflict. usually the gay person is pretty obvious, but then there was karamo (sp?) last season, and he fooled most people, I think.</p>
<p>Karamo is the gay guy from Real World last season. xD You're right VeganGirl. =/ What I don't get is how come the camera crew couldn't get the guy that punched Dan?</p>

<p>Nehemiah is the only chilled, laidback guy in the house. He's the one who I'd trust and like the most.</p>
<p>That blonde white guy is so cute but man does all he want is sex.</p>
<p>Lacey is cool too. That army girl... I feel sorry for her in the aspect that she thinks she's all that. Johanna and Melinda are really beautiful girls.</p>
<p>I got ****ed when Nehemiah got the blame for that dude's injury. Johanna was being an idiot and trying to fight him. What does a guy do when a girl tries to hit you? If you hit back you are a jerk, so you walk away. He did the right thing.</p>
