Hey evey one! I'm going into junior year this August, and am starting to narrow down my list of schools. I have a list of about 12 colleges and wanted feedback on if you guys think they're realistic choices. To give a little background, I am a white, middle class male living in California. I have around a 3.43 GPA unweighted, have taken mostly honors and AP classes so far and scored 180 on the psat. I'm mostly a B student with a couple of occasional A's and got one C+ last year in spanish. I'm want to major in either economics or English, along with doing premed prereqs. My list is:

Safety:
CUNY College of Staten Island
Washington State
University of Arizona
SF State
UCSC

Middle:
University Of Redlands
University of Washington
Rutgers
Syracuse
Puget Sound

Top:
SUNY Albany
SUNY Buffalo
CCNY
CUNY Brooklyn

I also have one question about the City College of Staten Island; why does it have a 99% acceptance rate? I really want to go to college in New York and that's my main backup plan, but the 99% thing is making me a little uneasy. Thanks for all your replies guys!
