I’m a literary focused person who wants to go into medical, which is one of my main reasons for picking Brown, since their pre-med program is flexible. I know I should focus on my EC’s, I just need a little guidance as to what type of things I should commit my time to. Currently I’m in speech and debate, Japanese club, a youth symphony, and hopefully in a couple weeks I’ll be volunteering at a nursing home until I’m old enough to volunteer at a hospital, and I’ll be applying to a super competitive research internship, and if I don’t get in, I have a link with a different one.
I’ve also entered some poetry to the New Yorker and a national competition, which I figure could be a hook? I’m not sure what will happen with that, though.
Any advice or input is sincerely appreciated.
