<p>From what I read the 10% translates into roughly a $780 increase in tuition fees (per year). By no means is that insignificant (believe me, I know how hard money is to come by), but in comparison with the overall cost of tuition fees, it's not something I could see changing a student's financial ability to attend a UC.</p>
<p>i talked to UC Berkeley rep today.. she said that admit rate might go down for next year... she told me there is no effect for this cycle/year.</p>
<p>REALLY????? I so hope the admissions rate is not affected this year.</p>
