Reasonable and cheaper way to send-in SAT and TOEFL scores .

All the prospective Nepali undergraduates and Seniors. Please suggest me thr best and cheap way to send-in the SAT and TOEFL scores.

did you ask for paper report of your SAT and TOEFL scores when you registered? most colleges accept the attested score reports, i.e. if you can get your GC to put an official seal on a copy of your paper report. but you should correspond with your college first asking them whether they accept attested reports or not. If you didn’t ask for paper report then you have no other option except to send the report via Collegeboard or ETS. Colleges do not really accept the print out of the web page with your scores even if you get your GC to attest it.

Or attest them from USEF. Most colleges don’t allow applicants to send attested test reports but if done from USEF, they might make an exception. Agree with User95 though. Ask them before you do so.

i was told by one of our dai, in a different forum, that he just contacted the Head of admissions at the colleges and sent his College board,ETS username and password to them and he was done. He rolled in to Stanford, i guess, so can it be done ??

Noway! I mean he must be really special for colleges like stanford to do that. I thought they had enough to work on than to log on to an applicant’s collegeboard account and check their SAT scores. I don’t know but I highly doubt if that is true.

I had my school’s principal sign the copies of my paper reports and sent it. In one case, I just printed out the online score and got it signed and sent it. ALWAYS check with the adcom though.

Print the online score report, scan it and send it through mail to the admission officer. Before sending the report, you have to email the officer saying that your family cannot afford the amount to send the official SAT scores. Ask them whether you should send a scanned copy or provide username/password of your collegeboard account. On most of the occasions, they will ask for a scanned copy. Get a authorized signature/text of your Co-ordinator/Director/Principal/Guidance Counselor on the scanned copy. Also, a STAMP of your college on every page of the report is necessary, just to make sure it looks authentic. Then, attach it to the email address and send the mail! Most of the colleges will accept it.
