I was just recently admitted to Vanderbilt's graduate program (MPP). Is this a pretty good graduate school? I went to a tier 1 university undergrad, and I don't know much about how Vanderbilt grad is ranked? Tier 2?3?

Any information about the school would be greatly appreciated. Didn't find out too much info on their site.

It's abbreviated "Vandy" fyi.
Is the MPP offered by Peabody in education policy? Peabody is considered one of the premier education schools in the country, on par with the best in the field.

unknownscholar - Graduate schools are not ranked. Graduate Programs are - sometimes. In the cases where they are ranked it is even more important than undergrad to carefully examine the ranking methodology as it may be meaningless for you.

That said... If your MPP is the one in Peabody it is pretty much top of the heap. Peabody has been top ten for at least a decade and last year was #3 (tied with Harvard and behind only Columbia and Stanford) in US News.

Why did you apply to a university and program you seem to know nothing about?
