Hi, I’m currently a Junior and looking for colleges where I can thrive!
I want a college where greek life is not dominant, academics is taken “very” seriously, and faculty/professors are world-class. Furthermore, I don’t want my prospective college to be too competitive and cutthroat where students are constantly stressed out.
My stats are:
GPA: 4.0, Rank: 1/93
PSAT: 1430/1520
SAT I: 1420/1600, Essay: 24 - I am taking the SAT 2-3 more times; I think I can bring my score up to at least a 1450 by then.
SAT II: World History (720), Math 2C (740) - taking US History this June
AP: World History (5), Calc AB (4), Chem (3) - taking 4 APs this may.
Family Income: 100K+ (I’m an only child so my parents can afford my tuition.)
For my extracurricular,
I am the editor of school newspaper, founder of MUN, and ran varsity cross-country for 3 years.
I have done 75+ community service hours so far, and planning to do 40-50 hours over summer.
My intended majors are: history, international relations, economics, and statistics.
I love to learn, read, and study. I believe that college is primarily for higher education, not for better job opportunities or fun.
Please recommend me 5-6 reach schools, 3-4 match schools, and 1-2 safety schools.
Even for the safety schools, I want to make sure that I would fit well into that college.
