Hi, i'm writing this post to ask about a letter of recommendation. my teacher has mailed her letter of recommendation before i applied to college. Well, i gave her the recommandation form along with an addressed and stamped envelope long before applying since I'd heard that it was better to ask for it early. it is my fault that i didn't tell her that i didn't apply yet. (it's how it went: "uh... would you mind writing me a letter of recom...""Oh, sure!" so I was like,"Thank you, miss. i really appriciate it..." I totally missed the chance to mention anythin about that becouse i was just too happy!)
so, my question is, is there any problem if a letter of recommendation is sent first before applying?
please help me...

No, that's perfectly fine.

I'm in the same boat with SAT scores since I used the free four slots to send them before I sent the applications. I don't think there should be a problem. From what I've heard they start your file with whatever they get first as long as it has your name and birthday on it and just add things to it as they get them.

thank you :) that's a relief!

i did the same thing! i'm so relieved to hear that

My transcript was sent before my common app was started. They start a file with the first info that arrives.
