Recommendation in pdf form?

Hi all,

I recently interned for an office and I received a recommendation but they sent the recommendation to me as a pdf file. Is there any way I could attach the pdf file as an additional recommendation or do I have to ask the person to make an account and write the recommendation on common app?

Scan it and upload to CA or physically Xerox it and mail/fax them to your target colleges. You don’t have to go to the Common App route.
