recommendation letter confusion

<p>when using the online common app, do you still have to give teachers/counselor pre-addressed envelopes? I have read that your stated recommenders will be given a log on to do it electronically</p>

<p>You can do either or both.</p>

<p>Either invite your teachers to submit their recommendations electronically through the common app, or add their names on the common app (but don’t enter their emails so they won’t go through the online process) and give them hard copies on the envelopes and recommendation forms instead.</p>
