Recommendation letter lenght

Hi everyone!

My awesome french teacher wrote me an equally awesome letter of recommendation. She's the best. The thing is, it's quite long and by quite long I mean 900-words-quite-long. (That would be one page and a half, font size 12.)

I wonder, is there a number of words limit on the teacher's recommendation form? It'd be a shame if some part of it would inadvertently get cut.

Or maybe it is just a file you need to upload? I searched the forum before opening this topic but couldn't quite find anything.

Thank you!

My teachers told me that they uploaded a pdf file of the letters of recommendation, which means there aren’t any word limits. Still, the common guideline is that recommendations shouldn’t be very long, and 900 words seems like more than one and a half pages (at least two, I think). Of course, if your teacher really has so much to say about you, he or she should send the letter.

Lovely, thanks for the info!

(It’s a bit less then 2 pages. But an easy read. Haha)
