Recommendation Letter?

<p>I am a junior in high school, planning to apply to CIT this fall. I am aware that many top schools require recommendations from strictly academic teachers. Is this also a requirement for CIT? And if so, am I allowed to send a recommendation from my Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Teacher? PLTW is an engineering course for those who have not heard of it. I have had this teacher for all my years in high school and feel that she can write the best recommendation however I don't think it counts as a academic course.</p>
