<p>Ha. I’m on a 2005 HP Compaq. Does what I ask it to. Last spring, it took all the U download s/w I needed for a project that needed me on the network 24/7, with steep file downloads and plenty of interaction. Sure, the battery is shot, but it’s 6 years old. (You can google the statistical reports on battery life over X years.) New owners should get a warranty and a flash drive. You don’t pound the bejesus out of it. You live by the best anti-virus you can find. Just sayin’.</p>
