I have researched past posts, and although there are post about Sarasota and Siesta Key, I was unable to find any specifics. My family would like to visit Siesta Key Fl next year in March. Can anyone recommend a beach front or near beach condo building that has rentals for at least a week?

We’ve stayed at the Palm Bay Club on Siesta Key every year for the past 9 years. You can choose to stay in the tower overlooking the beach or in other condos either on the beach side or the bay side near the intercoastal waterway. We really like staying on the bay side, but I’m guessing a lot of people like the beach side.
We usually go in January and love that it’s got a warm spa pool overlooking the intercoastal waterway so you can watch lots of boats go by and see wildlife off the dock. There are two large swimming pools - one on the beach side, and one on the bay side next to the spa pool. There are tennis courts, and they’ve got rackets and balls that you can borrow. They put in a new fitness center about three years ago.
If you look at their website, you can choose your dates and scroll through the options for all the different condos that are available and the set up in each bedroom. There are a few that have three bedrooms instead of two bedrooms. There are a few condos that are slightly larger and a few corner units if you like more light.

Another little hidden spot that I like is a very small local beach on the north end of Siesta Key on Shell Rd (off Higel Ave just across from Roberts Point Rd). There are only about 5-6 parking spaces.
It overlooks Big Sarasota Pass, and you can see across to South Lido Key Beach Park. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot especially in the early morning or early evening for seeing a bit of wildlife and a few boats go by. Enjoy your holiday no matter where you choose to stay!
